The mission of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Interest Group is to promote the education of medical students, residents, fellows, and attending physicians in the area of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) through research, innovation and collaboration.
The goals of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Interest Group include:
- Develop webinars over the course of the academic year related to EMS education.
- Collaborate with other EMS focused national organizations as related to formal EMS education, particularly NAEMSP and the Council of EMS Fellowship Directors.
- Develop a periodic EMS Journal Club Webinar series.
- Create a vehicle for mentorship for interested students and residents, particularly those without access to a local EMS fellowship.
