The mission of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Interest Group is too promote the education of medical students, residents, fellows, and attending physicians in the area of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) through research, innovation and collaboration.
The goals of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Interest Group include:
- Create more EMS Interest Group-sponsored didactics.
- Explore the development of FOAMed/podcasts for EMS topics that are relevant, timely, available in easily accessible/just-in-time formats.
- Obtain more information about what different residencies do for EMS education curricula and share that within the community.
- Create a vehicle for mentorship this year to ensure there is a resource for connecting mentees and mentors across all levels of EMS.
