It is with great pleasure that The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University invites you to attend this year’s SAEM New England Regional Meeting to be held at the Rhode Island Convention Center in the capitol city of Providence on April 3, 2013.
We are excited to have nationally-renowned experts Debra Houry, MD, MPH, FACEP and Brian Zink, MD, FACEP speaking at the conference. The conference will provide opportunities for researchers to showcase their work during a poster session and multiple oral abstract sessions moderated by regional faculty. For the first time, medical students will be taken to Rhode Island Hospital’s Medical Simulation Center to experience pediatric simulation demonstrations. Education sponsors have been selected who are focused on medical simulation in emergency medicine and allied fields.
This is the primary forum for presenting original emergency medicine research in the New England area and aims to foster the development and productivity of new researchers in emergency medicine. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Registration fee includes one parking voucher, continental breakfast, lunch, a program book, and a reception to follow at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
