Paul L DeSandre, DO, is Chief of Palliative and Supportive Care at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and is Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine, and Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology, and the Program Director for the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship at the Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. DeSandre teaches in the NCI sponsored Education in Palliative and End of Life Care–Emergency Medicine (EPEC-EM) Project and is editor of the Oxford Press book “Palliative Aspects of Emergency Care.”
